The Side About My Bimmer

This Website is about my Car. A 2004' BMW 1 series. In the past 4 Years driving this car, i changed a lot parts and made some "crazy" projects.

The website is available in German and English. (English Version still not complete but i'm hardly working on it.) The previous version of the page has had an "explore" function, where you can see my car from different point of views, and a simple click on an element (f.e. the Exhaustsystem) brings you to the according project.

Unfortunately my cars appearence chaged so often, that i'm getting bored of always taking new pics and creating new "clickable image areas.." - so i stopped this. Maybe one day i'll find a way to automatically do this :-)

All projects can be found in the projects section of the website. There are also many pictures and a lil discription about what to do.But, well actually this should be a side about coding - so why adding ৺blacknbeauty to the projects?

Because of the Picture-৺Browser - it's an amazing self written engine, that works proper fine.

• You can choose Images by thumbnails
• You can choose images by id
• Or You can simple use the "next" button

But theres even more Code arround, the Users don't see :-):

For Uploading a new picture, i simple drag it onto my ftp space into a folder called "new_pics".

The Rest is completly done by a cronjob (Was hard to code): Resizing, Watermarking, including and so on ...
