Howto: Display Desktop Alert On Imap Folders

I searched a lot, to find any hint, howto display this little "New Email"-Popups with MS ৺Outlook.
Most read Answer: This isn't possible with ৺Imap usage....

So i tried a bit - and found a way - a very simple way:

You Just need to create a (৺Desktop Alert)৺Rule on your ৺Imap Inbox. I dunno why, but the "Action" isn't displayed in the "Main" Pick-List...

You can create this the following way:

Select the Drop-Down Menu



and click onto



There, choose the Button



then, select the



in the



section and click on




Now, u have to choose the "Biggest" ৺Rule you can find: I choosed the



and selectet my ৺Imap Account. (Therefore you need to click on the Word "specified" in the lower frame)

The next window opening allows you to choose the "Action"



at the bottom of the list, is what you are searching about!
The Next Tab is for "Exceptions" (usually not needet - maybe exclude Junk or Newsletters ...)

On the last tab, ensure that



is ticked.
