Opera 10.00 beta 2


Today the ৺Opera 10.00 beta 2 has been released.

the changes i've spoted right now are:

  • New Icon Set
  • Smoother Menubars
  • faster again ;)


I will ৺search for changes and add em to the list ^^

The Extension of the address now takes lesser space:

Also the design of the preferences dialog changed


In my last post about ৺opera - remove the ugly menu bar - i showed, how to remove the remove
the menubar on top. Now, ৺Opera added a simple checkbox, into the file menu:

if u uncheck this, you get a small icon left of the thumbnails.

Adding Favicons to search

Opera has the great ability, that you can put your ৺search fields everywhere you want to. For identifying fast, which ৺search area belongs to what ৺search engine, opera uses the favicons from the ৺search engine.

But sometimes - after reinstalling opera - it takes a while, to get all the favicons back. Very annoying. If you want your favicons back fast, just do the following...
