Today the dog-net
৺development ৺Spam trap project has started.
Email-Servers are supporting Spam-filters to get rid of the "daily" emails.
but to decide "what is" spam, and whats "okay" - your mail server needs to know
about spam.
Therefore a "spam trap" is a good idea. An email-Adress, that is spread around int the
worldwideweb, only with the target to find a place on some spam-senders mailing lists.
The Project
To get spread arround the world, you need to find a place on different websites for your trap.
therefore i started a service, where you can submit your "trap-address" , and include a hidden list
of all known adresses.
simple visit
http://spamtrap.dog-net.org/ to signup and receive further
informations.
The side is working but complety "style-less" (i hope to fix this in the next days/weeks)
After signing up, include the url
http://dog-net.org/৺spamtrap.php on every website you own!
Your website will display a (hidden) list of all email-addresses saved in our
৺database.
All Errors in the
৺spamtrap.php are surpressed, so you shouldn't get any bugs on your page.
Sth like that (the referer will be set to get a overview how "often" the
৺spamtrap is called):
<!-- S p a m t r a p p r o j e c t -->
<div style="display:none">
<a href="mailto:feedme@dog-net.org" title="User">feedme@dog-net.org</a><br />
<a href="mailto:feedme@kraffner.de" title="User">feedme@kraffner.de</a><br />
</div>
<!-- set referer for counting hits-->
<img src="http://dog-net.org/spamtrap.png" width="0" height="0" alt="a Image" />
<!-- // S p a m t r a p p r o j e c t -->
