Heres a summary of the raw materials on the planets.
Note: this information has been collected on the singularity test server. It may change with the final release
Basically you need 6000 raw materials, to make 20 units of some other stuff. Bellow i attached a table, which raw material can be found on the different planets.

Well currently, im playing around with the different towers - but i have no idea, how i can get my materials from the planet to my ship's cargo. The command center offers a button called "launch" - if i push the trigger, my materials are shot ... yes ... where are they? - I dunno, but they are removed from the command centers cargo ;-)

Look at your jounal, there you will find a link where you can warp at.

Take a look in jour journal (it should blink anyway!) to find a spot with a can in the orbit of the planet where you can warp to.
